The main focus of this redesign was to turn an outdated home into a lively home for the whole family, while still maintaining its historic qualities. The style represents a mid-century vibe with mixed patterns and antiques to create an environment specific to their needs.

Throughout the various rooms, we strived to create a sense of harmony using color and texture. The rooms are characterized with fun patterns, intriguing walls and natural shapes.

The kitchen began as a room with old-fashioned colors, old appliances, and cabinets that were nonfunctional and difficult to reach. It was successfully transformed into a fresh and open space with a vast amount of functionality for the family. We focused on high quality materials yet retained a warm feeling throughout the space to make it cozy. This included leathered black granite, reclaimed wood shelves, wall mounted lighting and detailed hardware. In order to create a nice flow around the space, we installed a mobile island as a center detail and added hanging plants for a nice touch of green.  We used classic materials such as the subway tile and paneled cabinet in respect to the history of the 1910 home.
